5K Walk/Run  -  8:30 a.m.

Benefiting the Anti-Violence Programs of The Women's Center

  Join us for the 14th Annual Victory Over Violence Walk/Run - a fun way to spend the morning for
   the entire family. The event is open to women, men and kids of all ages.

  The 5K Walk/Run is a USATF certified course that winds through Trinity Park, and is timed using
  the ChronoTrack timing system.  The 1K Fun Run is also through Trinity Park, with all children who   complete the race getting a ribbon. After the race, enjoy a wide assortment of drinks and food plus
  the kids can play in the Kid's Zone where there are games, face painting and a bounce house to   entertain them before the awards are announced.   You can download a brochure here.

  Date:    Saturday, April 10, 2010  

  Time:    1K Fun Walk/Run - 8:00 a.m.
                5K certified walk/run - 8:30 a.m.

  Place:   Trinity Park Duck Pond in Fort Worth
                 2200 Trinity Park Drive

  Fees:    $15 adults on or before March 29
                $ 7 kids (17 and under) on or before March 19

                $18 adults after March 29
                $10 kids (17 and under) after March 29

                $20 adults on Race Day
                $10 kids (17 and under) on Race Day           

  Timing:  The 5K race is timed using the ChronoTrack timing system. In order to receive the timing
  tag, you must select "5K Timed" for your event.   Your ChronoTrack tag will be attached to your
  Race Number, which you pick up during Packet Pick Up.

  Benefits: All proceeds benefit the anti-violence programs of The Women's Center. The Center is   dedicated to improving the lives of women, men and children in our community. We serve 90,000   people annually through counseling, employment, adult literacy and educational programs. Your   involvement in this event will help survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse, domestic violence and   other violent crimes heal emotionally and resume productive lives.
