Form a Team

  Become a team captain and get your friends, coworkers, neighbors, school and church groups   involved.

  A team needs to have a minimum of FIVE members. Trophies will be awarded to the three fastest   teams, the three teams raising the most money, the three largest teams, and the three largest
  youth teams. Individuals are also eligible for awards and door prizes.

  Team captains can have their names entered into a special drawing for a $100 Ridgmar Mall   shopping spree, if your team has 10 or more participants.

  Interested in forming a team? There are two ways to start:

  Online Registration:  As team captain, click here and create your team name online. Then team   members choose the team name from a drop-down menu and register.

  Paper Registration:   If you prefer to gather your team members in person, we will mail you a
   team packet that includes a roster sheet and brochures. Click here and download a team roster.
   
  All team members must complete an entry form or register online.  Download entry forms here.

  Team registration deadline is March 29, 2010.

  

TEAM FAQ's:

  Can I copy the entry forms:  Yes

  Can I have some online registration and some paper registration:  Yes, just be sure that the   team name and team captain on the paper entries are identical to the online registration.

  For paper entries, do the entry forms need to be turned in together? Paper entries need to be   turned in together. Each team member needs to complete their own entry form. Please make sure
  the team name and team captain are identical on all your team members' entry forms. Send those   entry forms in with a Team Roster and the entry fees thru March 29.

  Can a team register online? Yes, but the team captain must first register and create the team
  name online. Then when a team member registers online, they choose the team name from a drop   down menu.

  Can friends and family be on our company/organization team? Yes, who is on your team is up
  to you

  Does everyone on the team have to run/walk the same race? No, team members can
  participate in either the 1K, 5K-timed or 5K-untimed. The team does not all have to be in the same   race.
